Thank you for what you wrote! I can remember being extremely excited that I was making 38,000 as a rookie with the potential to make 39,000 when I graduate the Academy when I started 21 years ago…

The top subject in the Bible, far more than love, sin, commandments, heaven, and hell, is the stewardship and management of resources. I hope that your words reach an audience of and beyond law enforcement. Too many of our young officers are buying things they don’t need, with money they don’t have, to impress people they don’t even like. Great job!

Thank you for highlighting that critical issue. I frequently have a chance to preach on the topic of financial stewardship, as well as the discipline of the resources attributed within your life. These articles have given a voice to where the Lord is leading. Thank you for continuing to be such an ardent supporter!

Great perspective Jeff. I did not become a police officer to get rich. I did so and and continue to serve because it is a calling. Never was it a job. Wonder if there are any police officers who would work 12 hr days, 6 days a week, for $600. That was my pay for the first 2 years I served.

Thank you for your words my brother.
